Work never ends!

Hi to all out there on the drumfarm.
The Think Floyd 2012 UK and European tour wrapped up last weekend in Croydon and Stamford. Great crowds to say a sad farewell to our 40th anniversary tribute to Pink Floyd live at Pompeii. I really enjoyed the challenging Nick Mason drum parts! Work has already begun on our 2013 show, lots of exiting new Pink Floyd tracks to add to the set as well as some old favourites. Check out WWW.THINKFLOYD.NET for all the tour news.
And just as one door closes, the Panto door springs open and I’m thrust into the orchestra pit at the Palace Theatre Newark from 12th Dec till 6th Jan 2013. This year it’s Beauty and the beast, and I’m already writing drum parts and studying the script to make sure all the sound fx will be in the right place, Panto really is a challenge, anything can happen on the stage, and as the percussionist/drummer, you have to be right on top of the action, even one step ahead!
I will let you know how it goes over the next month, in the meantime… HAPPY CHRISTMAS and a great drumming NEW YEAR from the Farmer.

Playing Drums live is one of the most exhilarating jobs on the planet...
OK, it's less adrenaline fuelled than Bungee Jumping or Formula One Racing, but if you want to enjoy earning your money, and you love music, it's a winner!
